These classes focus on providing participants with a safe and progressive platform to enjoy the globally fast-growing sport of Kudo- an open-rules full-contact combat sport incorporating protective equipment.

Practice involves learning various aspects of unarmed combat, (i.e. striking, grappling, throws and takedowns, and ground submissions) and integrating them in sparring according to the Kudo ruleset.

These classes involve contact-intensive partnered practice and is run with safety and respect at its core- using protective equipment and upholding the spirit of Japanese martial arts culture (budo).
