Build a strong foundation in beach volleyball through this beginner-friendly group class designed for players with little to no prior beach or indoor volleyball experience. Develop the fundamental skills, movement patterns and game understanding needed to play with confidence while progressing through structured drills and guided practice.

In this class, you will focus on:

Developing fundamental movement skills

Running, jumping, shuffling and lunging
Hand-eye coordination, reaction time and ball perception

Learning core beach volleyball techniques

Passing, setting, spiking and serving
Jump spike approach and proper movement mechanics

Building ball control

Passing with control and direction
Setting with appropriate height and consistency
Proper hand contact and timing when spiking

Developing court awareness

Moving efficiently on sand
Coordinating full-body movement
Understanding effective ball contact and court positioning

These core fundamentals form the foundation for future progression and should be developed before moving on to the next level.
